Alembic Glass Industries to change name to Shreno High Court of Gujarat approves merger of Shreno with the company Alembic Glass Industries has announced that the Hon'ble High Court of Gujarat has granted its approval to the scheme of amalgamation of Shreno with the company. Further the company has informed that with the scheme being approved by the Hon'ble High Court, the name of the company stands changed from 'Alembic Glass Industries Ltd' to 'Shreno Ltd'. The formal procedure 'for change of name' with the registrar of co mpanies, Gujarat is being carried out. The company will issue one equity share of Rs 100 each for every six equity shares of Rs 10 each held by the shareholders of Shreno as on the record date, to be fixed for the purpose.
