Dic India Limited has informed the Exchange that the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta has sanctioned the Scheme of amalgamation of Rohit (Printing Ink & Paints) Industries (P) Ltd with the Company with effect from April 01, 2007. The Company has further informed the Exchange that Rohit (Printing Inks & Paints) Industries Private Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of DIC India Ltd. Rohit (Printing Inks & Paints) Industries Private Limited has ceased to do business. In view of the same and for better synergies, the Board of DIC India Ltd. decided it desirable and expedient to merge the Company with itself effective April 01, 2007 for which purpose the Court convened Meeting had been held on June 29, 2007 whereby the members had approved the merger of the Company.
