Approved the draft scheme of amalgamation with Sab Industries Ltd. With reference to the earlier announcement regarding approval of Board of Directors of the Company for Scheme of Amalgamation of the Company with SAB Industries Ltd, Steel Strips & Tubes Ltd has informed BSE that the Board has dropped the above mentioned Scheme of Amalgamation and approved a fresh amalgamation Scheme of the Company with SAB Industries Ltd. As per fresh scheme of amalgamation, the transfer date is April 01, 2005. As per proposed scheme of amalgamation, the transfer date is April 01, 2007.
