Bharti Airtel Ltd has informed BSE that subject to the requisite approvals (including approvals of the relevant High Courts, if any), the Board of Directors of the Company has approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of Airtel Broadband Services Private Limited (formerly known as Wireless Business Services Private Limited) a wholly owned subsidiary with the Company. With reference to letter dated October 23, 2013, Bharti Airtel Ltd has informed BSE that Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Bombay, on April 11, 2014 has approved the Scheme of the Amalgamation of Airtel Broadband Services Private Limited (Formerly known as Wireless Business Services Private Limited) a wholly owned subsidiary with the Company. The certified copy of this Order is yet to be received. The amalgamation will be effective upon completion of requisite statutory requirements. (As Per BSE Announcement Dated on 11.04.2014)
