Tata Communications Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of Tata Communications Limited, through resolutions passed through circular, has approved a Scheme of Amalgamation for amalgamation of Tata Communications Internet Services Limited (a 100% subsidiary of Tata Communications Limited) with its Parent, Tata Communications Limited. Tata Communications Ltd has informed BSE that an Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company was held on April 27, 2011, to consider the Scheme of Amalgamation of Tata Communications Internet Services Ltd with Tata Communications Ltd. The voting was conducted by way of poll. It is now intimated that the Shareholders of the Company at the EGM have granted their consent to the said Scheme of Amalgamation.
