Hindustan Unilever Ltd has informed BSE regarding a Press Release dated September 08, 2015 titled 'HUL signs agreement with Everstone for sale of Modern bakery business'. With reference to the earlier letter dated September 08, 2015 wherein the Company had informed the exchanges about the Company entering into an agreement for sale and transfer of its bread and bakery business under the brand 'Modern' to Nimman Foods Private Limited (now known as Modern Food Enterprises Private Limited), an investee company of the Everstone Group. In this regard, Hindustan Unilever Ltd has informed BSE that post completion of requisite formalities, the Company has completed the transaction. Accordingly, the 'Modern' business stands transferred to Modern Food Enterprises Private Limited. (As Per BSE Announcement Dated on 06.04.2016)
