NO DEALINGS FROM 27/08/2013 DR-105/2013-2014 Sesa Goa Ltd has informed BSE that the merger of Sterlite Industries (India) Limited (Sterlite) and The Madras Aluminium Company Limited (MALCO) with Sesa Goa Limited ('Sesa Goa') and transfer of MALCO power plant to Vedanta Aluminium Limited (VAL) pursuant to the Scheme of amalgamation and arrangement amongst Sterlite, MALCO, Sterlite Energy Limited (SEL), VAL and Sesa Goa and their respective Shareholders and Creditors (omposite Scheme') and Scheme of Amalgamation of Ekaterina Limited (Ekaterina) with Sesa Goa and their respective Shareholders and Creditors (katerina Scheme') has become effective. The Board of Directors of Sesa Goa Ltd has fixed August 28, 2013 as the Record date for determining the list of the shareholders of Sterlite, MALCO and Ekaterina to whom the equity shares of the Company will be allotted. (As per BSE Announcement Dated on 29.08.2013) Sesa Goa Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 29, 2013, has taken following decisions : 1. Approved allotment of equity shares to the shareholders of Sterlite Industries (India) Limited ('Sterlite'), The Madras Aluminium Company Limited ('MALCO') and Ekaterina Limited ('Ekaterina') pursuant to the Schemes of Amalgamation and Arrangement. (As per BSE Announcement Dated on 29.08.2013) Sesa Sterlite Ltd has informed BSE that Hon'ble High Court of Bombay at Goa had approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of the Goa Energy Limited with the Company on March 12, 2015. Subsequent to filling the necessary forms, the merger Scheme is effective from March 24, 2015.
